PMDC-CSR 2024 Update:
December 5, 2024, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm—the Community Relations Unit, together with PMDC's Environment Officer, Ms. Anuetha Canda, successfully conducted another interactive and impactful (IEC) Information, Education, and Communication Campaign for the Grade 10 to Grade 12 students of Ulip National High School. The IEC highlights the discussion on responsible mining practices and the laws to be followed, the dangers of mercury and cyanide use in mining, focusing on their harmful effects on both health and the environment, and the introduction of the mandates of the Philippine Mining Development Corporation to the students.
The main goal of the IEC is to empower these young minds with the awareness and tools to advocate for safer, more sustainable mining practices and explore effective ways to mitigate these risks. #ResponsibleMining #sustainabledevelopment #environmentalawareness #pmdccsr #pmdchero #creatingwealthenrinchinglives

DIWALWAL SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE (DSEZ) AND JEWELRY PARK PROJECT It is a 288-hectare mixed-use development project, which will be established in Tagbanao Area, Sitio Depot, Barangay Upper Ulip, Monkayo, Compostela Valley Province. It is the first of its kind among the new types of ecozones that will be promoted by PMDC in partnership with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).
