Atty. Francis Agunod Calatrava is a veteran lawyer and public servant
from Davao City with a long and distinguished career in government
service. He served for many years in the Public Attorney’s Office, where
he eventually became Regional Public Attorney for Region XI, and was
recognized for his dedication to public service and legal assistance. In
2019, he was appointed as Member of the Board of Directors of the
Philippine Mining Development Corporation.

Atty. Calatrava earned his Political Science degree and Juris Doctor
from Ateneo de Davao University, where he graduated Cum Laude
before being admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1980. Throughout his
career, he became known for his leadership, professionalism, and
commitment to justice and public service.
