Engr. Irvin I. Estrada is a seasoned engineering professional and corporate executive with extensive experience in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, infrastructure development, project management, and corporate leadership. He currently serves as Director of the Philippine Mining Development Corporation, while concurrently holding executive leadership positions in the private sector, including Chief Executive Officer of One Jervois Place Inc., Chief Operating Officer of Le Inicio Place Inc., and Senior Consultant of 515 LIFE Consultancy Services.
Engr. Estrada possesses multidisciplinary expertise as a licensed Civil Engineer, Geodetic Engineer, and Master Plumber, with professional specialization in geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, transportation and traffic engineering, hydrology, environmental engineering, land and topographic surveying, and project management planning. He is likewise proficient in technical and engineering applications such as ArcGIS, HEC-HMS, storm analysis, and traffic simulation systems.
His academic background reflects a strong foundation in engineering, management, and public governance. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Development Administration major in Public Governance at the Philippine Christian University. He also earned a Master in Management major in Business Administration from the same institution and completed his Master of Science in Civil Engineering major in Geotechnical Engineering at the University of the Philippines Diliman. His undergraduate degrees include Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering from the University of Northern Philippines, and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
Throughout his professional career, Engr. Estrada has actively participated in numerous technical seminars, engineering conventions, and specialized training programs involving structural engineering, flood modelling, drainage systems, transportation analysis, and performance-based engineering design. He is a member of several recognized professional organizations, including the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines, Geotechnical Engineers of the Philippines, and Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines.
Apart from his professional practice, Engr. Estrada has likewise demonstrated strong civic and leadership involvement through various organizations and institutions. He served as District Deputy Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines, Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Philippine National Police Intelligence Group (PRO-4A), Director of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary Squadron, and Worshipful Master of Dr. Jose P. Laurel Lodge No. 325. His leadership experience reflects his continued commitment to public service, professional excellence, and community development.
