President and CEO

Job Adrian M. Ambrosio was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the Philippine Mining Development Corporation effective February 16, 2026.

Ambrosio earned his AB Economics and Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila University and admitted to practice law in the Philippines in 1999 and passed the State Bar of California. He also earned an International Diploma in Computer Information Systems from the University of California, Berkeley and a Practice Diploma on International Capital Market and Loans from the College of Law of England and Wales. He is also a Cochran Fellow on Biofuels given by the United States Department of Agriculture.

Ambrosio is also currently the President and Nominee of the Wecap Financial, Inc. a licensed stock brokerage in the Philippines and member of the Philippine Stock Exchange.

Before his appointment, he joined the Equis Funds Group in 2015 a private equity firm focused on renewable energy investments in Asia Pacific. He helped establish the Philippine office of Equis and at the same time headed the bioenergy arm, Bioeq Energy which built a bioethanol plant and also Director for solar and wind projects. He has been the Chairman of Penwood Corporation since 2008, a consultancy firm providing services to energy and infrastructure companies.

Ambrosio served as associate attorney at the Puyat Jacinto and Santos Law Firm in 1999 and was named partner in 2006. He co-headed the Banking, Finance and Capital Markets Group at PJS. Before being named Partner, he joined the Philippine government briefly when he became Special Counsel to the Department of Finance (under the National Power Corporation) where he provided legal advice on government debt issuances and privatization matters.
