Atty. Rodolfo G. Tuazon, Jr. is a distinguished legal practitioner with extensive experience in energy, environmental, corporate, labor, and regulatory law. He currently serves as Senior Partner of Molo Sia Dy Tuazon & Coloma Law Offices, where he heads the firm’s Energy and Environment Division and co-heads its Labor Division. He is likewise a Lecturer at the University of the Philippines College of Law, teaching Labor Law and Legal Method/Statutory Construction.

Over the course of his legal career, Atty. Tuazon has handled a broad range of matters involving renewable energy development, environmental compliance, corporate transactions, labor relations, immigration, and infrastructure projects. He has been actively involved in the development of numerous solar, biomass, and renewable energy projects across the Philippines, including providing legal and regulatory advisory services, conducting due diligence, securing permits and clearances, and assisting clients in navigating compliance requirements before various government agencies.

His professional experience likewise includes consultancy work with the Environmental Management Bureau and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, where he assisted in the review of Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) applications and participated in policy and regulatory initiatives concerning environmental governance and land management.

Atty. Tuazon has also served as consultant to the joint committee of the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Anti-Red Tape Authority on protecting minority investors and improving the country’s Ease of Doing Business framework.

He regularly serves as director and adviser to various corporations and currently sits as an independent director of ACOM Consumer Finance Corporation. His practice has earned recognition in the field of Projects and Energy, including citations by Legal 500 Asia Pacific and inclusion in the Philippines’ A-List of top lawyers by Asia Business Law Journal.

Atty. Tuazon obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law, where he served as Editor of the Philippine Law Journal, and earned his Bachelor of Science major in Business Management from Ateneo de Manila University.
