Acting Corporate Secretary
Atty. James Adrian M. Cagas is a legal professional currently serving as Acting Corporate Secretary and Legal Officer I of the Philippine Mining Development Corporation (PMDC). He has been actively involved in corporate governance, legal compliance, and administrative matters within the government corporate sector, particularly in the mining industry.
He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo de Davao University and passed the 2022 Bar Examinations. Prior to his current role in PMDC, he served as an Associate Lawyer at Carpio Zerna-Lei Law Firm, where he gained experience in legal research, litigation support, and corporate legal practice.
Atty. Cagas also previously served as Legal Assistant at PMDC, providing legal and administrative support on corporate and regulatory matters. Earlier in his public service career, he held leadership positions in local governance as Sangguniang Kabataan Federation President of the Municipality of Tampakan and Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman of Barangay Lambayong, South Cotabato.
With a background in both law and financial management, Atty. Cagas earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management from Notre Dame of Dadiangas University. His professional experience reflects his commitment to public service, corporate governance, and legal excellence.
