Engr. Marites M. Reotutar

Vice President for Operations

Marites M. Reotutar is a licensed Mining Engineer who attained her BS Mining Engineering degree and Masters of Public Administration at the University of the Philippines Diliman. She is a member of the Philippine Society of Mining Engineers NCR Chapter.

Before joining PMDC in June 2013, her work experience revolved around the mining industry and served as Engineer II at the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in 2009 and as Science Research Specialist in the Coal and Nuclear Minerals Division of the Department of Energy (DOE) in 2012.

She earned her expertise in ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) and took on the role as IQA Team Leader, and also acquired related training in ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System). Engr. Mae is technically proficient in mining related software such as DS Geovia Surpac and ArcGIS and merited certifications in Basic Occupational Safety and Health, Loss Control Management and Safety Auditing of Mining Projects. These credentials honed her in technical mining operations and rigorous regulatory compliance, having mastered the intricacies of auditing, investigation, permitting process, feasibility evaluation, environmental management, safety and health of mining projects.
