Mary Ann P. Zarcilla is a Certified Public Accountant who graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Accounting, from Mindanao State University–General Santos City, and later earned her Master in Public Administration from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.

She has built a broad and practical career across government, corporate, healthcare, and public-sector settings, with experience in financial management, accounting operations, budgeting, cash and fund management, internal controls, regulatory compliance, administrative services, project monitoring, and institutional support.

As Finance and Accounting Department Manager of the Philippine Mining Development Corporation, she helps strengthen the Corporation’s financial reporting, fund management, internal controls, policy and procedural improvements, and compliance practices, thereby supporting sound decision-making, transparency, and responsible corporate governance. Her previous roles as Finance Director and Chief Accountant at Qualimed Health Network, Finance Officer at Solid Laguna Corporation, HR/Administration Officer at Reemalum Philippines, Inc., Accountant at Eco-System Technologies, Inc. and Davao Oriental Provincial Hospital, and Senior Project Staff and Financial Analyst at the Department of Trade and Industry–Provincial Office reflect a well-rounded professional background grounded in technical competence, practical leadership and public-sector awareness.
