Stewardship & Community-Based Programs

The Philippine Mining Development Corporation (PMDC) implements environmental initiatives as part of its commitment to responsible mining and sustainable community development.

These initiatives are carried out within PMDC’s active tenements—particularly in the Diwalwal Mineral Reservation Area (DMRA) and Cagayan De Oro–Opol Property—through coordinated efforts with LGUs, schools, Indigenous communities, and partner agencies. Activities combine on-site environmental actions, structured information campaigns, and community participation, supported by documented outputs and engagement records
