The Philippine Mining Development Corporation joined the nationwide celebration of Arbor Day with the theme “Luntiang Bukas” spearheaded by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the Manila City Government held on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
PMDC with other agencies and thousands of volunteers commitment was underscored during the planting of seedlings along Magsaysay Boulevard and Padre Burgos Avenue, Manila.
The initiative supported calls for expanding green spaces focused on urban restoration and encouraging stronger community participation in safeguarding the environment for a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future.
